TEBA meets with the Chair of the European Parliament International Trade Committee

On December 18th, TEBA was honored to recently meet with the Chair of the European Parliament International Trade Committee, Mr. Bernd Lange, MEP and his colleagues. Together with the Delegation of Europe Union in Thailand (EUD). It was a very fruitful meeting with productive discussion. At TEBA, we stand ready to support the negotiations of EU-Thailand FTA.We will look forward to future collaboration with the European Parliament and EUD colleagues.

On September 28th, TEBA was very appreciated attending the fruitful seminar organized by the EU Delegation to Thailand (EUD) & the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI). It was a full house! EU and Thailand Relaunch Trade Negotiations

The European Union and Thailand have announced the restart of negotiations for a balanced and sustainable free trade agreement. This will strengthen the EU’s engagement with Southeast Asia, with the aim of boosting trade and investment by addressing market access, intellectual property rights, digital trade, and sustainable development. Despite the existing well-established trade relations, the EU is under-represented in innovative sectors in Thailand, providing potential for more business and investment opportunities. The EU and Thailand aim to hold the first round of negotiations soon, and a Sustainability Impact Assessment will be conducted to evaluate the potential impacts of the agreement.
