On the 26th of July, TEBA Delegates LED by Joerg Laatsch, TEBA President, met with Dr. Somkid Jatusripitak, the Deputy Prime Minister of Thailand, at the Official Government House. The delegation comprised of representatives from Many Major Industry sectors including: Automotive. , Aerospace and Pharmaceuticals. The delegation aimed to Discuss the Major obstacles faced by Thai and European manufacturers in Thailand and to Propose mutually beneficial Recommendations to further Assist and Guide the Thai Government in Import and Export Facilitation boosting Thailand’s Economy. The delegation Shared an overview of Thailand’s Automotive Market such as. the issue on grey market vehicles and automotive standardization (which in turn enables export facilitation) as well as discussing investment incentives for the aerospace and high technology industries and how to promote Thailand as a regional clinical study centre.
