Chiang Mai University won the Schneider Electric Challenge 2011 in six consecutive years for innovation and energy efficiency

Schneider Electric, the global specialist in energy management, launched its 7th annual Schneider Electric Challenge 2011.

With the objective of enhancing knowledge and skill to the youth from the faculty of electrical engineer or related nationwide by providing innovating skills in energy efficiency, The Faculty of Engineering Chiang Mai University under the “Intelligent power management for shopping centers” won first prize of 100,000 Baht in scholarship, plaque and a trip abroad with Schneider Electric Director of Business Development and Marketing, Mr. Sorrarat Boonsong, Director of Energy Management Service, Mr. Kasabol Bowonsrikan, Assistance Professor Dr. Panarit Sethakul, Acting Executive Director of Thai-French Innovation Institute (TFII) and Dean of Industrial Education, the King Mongkut’s University of Technology North Bangkok (KMUTNB), presented the award.
