Road Safety Campaign Press Event

On December 2nd, 2019 Thai-European Business Associaton was invited to attend the Road Safety Campaign Press event, organised by the Department of Land Transport. His Excellency Mr. Saksayam Chidchob, Minister of Transport, the Transport Company Limited, the Office of the Vocational Education Commission, the Thai Automotive Industry Association and the Thai Motorcycle Enterprise Association who spoke about Road Safety Campaign, directed at a specific target group of road users and reduced road traffic accident during the 2020 New Year Festival.

The 2019-2020 European Business Position Paper

On November 29th, 2019 Thai-European Business Association (TEBA) attended the official launch event of the 2019-2020 European Business Position Paper: Trade and Investment Issues and Recommendations in Support of a Competitive Economy in Thailand. The event was presided by H.E. Mr. Prinkka Tapiola, Ambassador Delegation of the European Union to Thailand, and H.E. Mr. Sansern Samalapa, Vice Minister of Commerce, Ministry of Commerce. The European Business Position Paper is the unified work of EABC’s twelve working groups contributing to the improvement of European-Thai economic relations, trade and investment and covering a board range of industries.

Press Release: TEBA-OIE Meeting

On October 30th, 2019, Thai-European Business Association (TEBA) had the opportunity to meet with Deputy Director-General, Mr. Aditad Vasinonta of the Office of Industrial Economics (OIE), Ministry of Industry with main discussions focus on the ASEAN Automotive Products MRA Acceleration, Automotive Trade Opportunities in ASEAN, EU-Thailand FTA Negotiations, Emission Standard and Road safety. The meeting was attended by companies such as BMW, Michelin, Robert Bosch, Triumph Motorcycles, TUV Rheinland, and Schaeffler Manufacturing.

Introduce new requirement AIAG-VDA FMEA manual

On August 9th, 2019 Introduce new requirement AIAG – VDA FMEA manual has successfully taken place at Eastern Seaboard Industrial Estate (Rayong) Office. The Thai-European Business Association (TEBA) together with synergetic cooperation of WHA Industrial Development, Omnex Group and Eastern Economic Corridor of Innovation (EECi), welcomed over 30 attendees from thai automotive and auto parts industry. On March 14th, 2019, Thai-European Business Association held the Annual General Meeting and Exclusive Dinner Talk with the Thai Industrial Standards Institute (TISI) at Pullman Grande Bangkok Sukhumvit from 16.00 – 20.00 hrs. Members of the TEBA had an open discussion and information sharing meeting with Deputy Secretary General, Mr. Thana Alapach of the TISI with main discussions focus on TISI’s policies and their future national strategy for standardization. The meeting was attended by companies such as BMW, Bosch, Continental, Czech Trade Bangkok, Man Truck & Bus Asia Pacific, Michelin, Mercidedes Benz, Mercidedes Benz Manufacturing, Triump Motorcycle, TUV Rheinland, TUV SUD and Saint Gobain.

Press Release: BOI’s incentives for investments and their future strategy for EV and the Automotive Industry with Khun Chokedee Kaewsang

On March 7th, 2019, Thai-European Business Association held exclusive dinner talk with the Board of Investment of Thailand (BOI) at Pullman Grande Bangkok Sukhumvit from 18.00 – 20.00 hrs. Members of the TEBA had an open discussion and information sharing meeting with Deputy Secretary General, Mr. Chokedee Kaewsang of the BOI with main discussions focus on BOI’s incentives for investments and their future strategy for Electric Vehicle (EV) and the the Automotive Industry. The meeting was attended by companies such as BMW, Continental, Czech Trade Bangkok, Michelin, ThaiGerTec, Umicore Autocat and TUV Rheinland.

TEBA-PCD meeting

On March 11th, TEBA together with EABC Automotive Working Group have participated in the consulting meeting with PCD Director-General, Pralong Damrongthai on solution on PM2.5 and Euro 5 Regulations. The meeting was attended by companies such as Bosch, Continental, CNH Industrial Services, DHL Supply Chain, Michelin, ThaiGerTec, Umicore Autocat and TUV Rheinland.

TEBA-EVAT meeting

Thai-European Business Association held internal meeting with the Electric Vehicle Association of Thailand (EVAT) on March 1st, 2019 from 15.00 – 17.00 hrs. Members of the TEBA had an open discussion and information sharing meeting with President, Dr. Yossapong Laoonual of the EVAT with main discussions regarding electric vehicle (EV) roadmap and framework including the development of the automotive industry. The meeting was attended by companies such as Bosch, Continental, Mercedes Benz, Michelin, P.C.S Holding, TUV Rheinland and Schaeffler.

TEBA receives the official certification of participation and collaboration from the Department of Land Transport (DLT)

On March 11th, Thai-European Business Association was invited in attend the press conference and was received certificate of participation from the Department of Land Transport under the department’s Road Safety campaign. Director-General for Technical Affairs, Mr. Kamol Buranapong has launched Road Safety Campaign ahead of Songkran who spoke that the DLT is ensuring the preparedness of facilities, promoting road safety practices during the upcoming Songkran holidays.
